Your solution to relieve pain and improve health. Based on ancient principles acupuncture is now used worldwide to enhance modern medicine or to provide a natural alternative to chemical pain relief.

Your treatment will most likely involve the use of tiny, sterile needles to trigger responses in meridian points.

You can experience a dull ache or mild vibration, or even the gentle sensation of running water or warmth around the needle point. This sensation is called Deqi.

Nervous about needles?

Treatment is painless as the needles are extremely fine. Unlike thick, hollow hyperdermic needles used for injections, these are solid and flexible, like fine wire thread. Each needles comes in its own sterile pack and can be inserted using a guide tube for your comfort.

We can help you to relax and relieve any anxiety before treatment. Needles are not always needed as we can apply alternatives such as acupressure massage or cupping.

If your fears are restricting the way you behave in other aspects of your life, you may be suffering from a more severe phobia. Phobias are easily treatable using hypnosis. Call today to see how we can help.

back meridian points acupuncture hypnotherapy massage reflexologyTraditional acupuncture has a 2000 year history, drawing from ancient meridian theory. Western medicine accepts that health  relates to the body's organs and systems, and our lifestyle.

Chinese medicine adopts modern medical advances, but does not separate health of body from health of the mind or spirit. Wellbeing is governed by the balance of energy (Qi) flowing through points along 12 meridians. These channels can become blocked or weakened, making the body vulnerable to disease and injury, or the mind open to emotional imbalance and destructive habits.

While western medicine is designed to effectively treat isolated symptoms, acupuncture addresses the root cause of these symptoms by eliminating any energetic blockages or weakness, and treating the whole person. Acupuncture stimulates points along the meridians to address pain, tension, blockages and pathogens.
